About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan to achieve and exceed annual sales goals
- Promote TEPEZZA to physicians and healthcare professionals within approved labeling and regulatory guidelines
- Drive product demand through education on disease states and product information
- Address access, pull-through, and reimbursement issues by coordinating with key stakeholders and matrix teams
- Build strong customer relationships by understanding and communicating customer needs and goals
- Coordinate between accounts and relevant Amgen field teams to support a full range of account needs
- Educate healthcare professionals and office staff on site of care options
- Manage efforts within assigned promotional and operational budgets
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 3 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience (or equivalent experience based on education level)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel approximately 80% within the assigned territory
Preferred Qualifications
- Buy-and-bill experience with documented success
- Biologic or infusion experience
- Sales experience in Endocrinology, Ophthalmology, or rare/specialty disease states
- Experience with site of care, reimbursement, institutions, or integrated delivery networks
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
