About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan to achieve and exceed annual sales goals
  • Promote TEPEZZA to physicians and healthcare professionals within approved labeling and regulatory guidelines
  • Drive product demand through education on disease states and product information
  • Address access, pull-through, and reimbursement issues by coordinating with key stakeholders and matrix teams
  • Build strong customer relationships by understanding and communicating customer needs and goals
  • Coordinate between accounts and relevant Amgen field teams to support a full range of account needs
  • Educate healthcare professionals and office staff on site of care options
  • Manage efforts within assigned promotional and operational budgets

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience (or equivalent experience based on education level)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel approximately 80% within the assigned territory

Preferred Qualifications

  • Buy-and-bill experience with documented success
  • Biologic or infusion experience
  • Sales experience in Endocrinology, Ophthalmology, or rare/specialty disease states
  • Experience with site of care, reimbursement, institutions, or integrated delivery networks
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
