About the role
Responsibilities
- Represent TEPEZZA to physicians and healthcare professionals to establish product sales
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan to exceed annual sales goals
- Drive product demand through education on disease states and product information
- Address issues related to access, pull-through, and reimbursement by coordinating with stakeholders
- Build strong customer relationships by understanding and communicating customer needs
- Coordinate between accounts and relevant Amgen field teams to support account needs
- Educate healthcare professionals and office staff on site of care options
- Manage efforts within assigned promotional and operational budgets
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 3 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience (or equivalent experience based on education level)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel approximately 80% of the time, including some overnight and weekend commitments
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Buy-and-bill experience with documented success
- Biologic or infusion experience
- Sales experience in Endocrinology, Ophthalmology, or rare/specialty disease states
- Experience with site of care, reimbursement, institutions, or integrated delivery networks
