About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and conduct indication-related specialist discussions and visits to private specialist physicians to promote pharmaceutical products
- Achieve growth and sales targets for the relevant product portfolio
- Identify and strategically manage key customer groups and specialists, such as neurologists, gastroenterologists, and pain specialists
- Build and maintain relationships with regional and national opinion leaders in compliance with legal requirements and internal codes
- Provide evidence-based, indication-specific consulting regarding products, services, and therapy options
- Implement regional marketing and sales strategies, including individual action planning based on CRM and market data
- Support therapy changes and new patient starts to ensure stable patient care through competent consultation
- Document all activities, sample distributions, and customer data promptly in the CRM system (e.g., Veeva/Salesforce)
- Report adverse effects (UAWs) within 24 hours in accordance with legal and internal regulations
Requirements
- Several years of experience in field sales for prescription drugs (Rx), ideally in specialist field sales
- Certification as a pharmaceutical representative according to § 75 AMG
- Scientific or medical-pharmaceutical background is an advantage
- Sound knowledge of pharmacology in relevant therapeutic areas (e.g., neurology, gastroenterology)
- Strong sales competence, scientific argumentation skills, and a results-oriented mindset
- Analytical and entrepreneurial thinking with the ability to interpret market data
- Valid Class B driver's license
- Residency in or near the assigned territory
