About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee a roster of managed accounts to meet and exceed growth KPIs
- Coordinate and execute merchandising projects, including design, manufacture, and fulfillment
- Develop and execute 12-18 month roadmaps for each managed account
- Manage merchandise for artist tours, retail sales, events, pop-ups, and ecommerce
- Maintain proactive communication with internal teams and clients, ensuring timely responses
- Implement and refine processes to minimize errors and mitigate revenue loss
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in merchandising, sales, brand management, or a related industry (e.g., artist management, record labels)
- Experience in an apparel production environment and managing production processes with partners
- First-hand experience with tour or merchandise sales, including advancing merchandise with venues
- Familiarity with D2C strategies and the Shopify platform
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage client relationships
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present business plans and strategic insights
