About the role

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales and retention goals measured quarterly while providing excellent support to clients
  • Act as primary point of contact and business partner for a dedicated portfolio of core clients
  • Identify growth opportunities to expand existing user base within a portfolio of accounts
  • Develop and own long-term strategy and execution plans to increase client engagement
  • Conduct consultative client demonstration sessions highlighting platform value
  • Collaborate with Customer Success teams to strategize on account retention
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycles and pipeline using Salesforce and Catalyst
  • Use Tableau, Gong, and Highspot to monitor usage, review calls, and drive engagement
  • Prospect new accounts via LinkedIn Navigator, events, and other channels

Requirements

  • 2+ years of sales or account management experience
  • Fluency in Japanese and English
  • Proven ability to close complex deals and oversee the end-to-end sales process
  • Experience with Salesforce, Catalyst, or similar CRM systems
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Authorized to work in Japan without visa sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Interest in the private equity and venture capital marketplace
