Account Manager, PCG Korea

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement account plans aligned with business strategy for segments including Industrial coating, Printing ink, Specialty Paper, Textile, and adjacent markets like Electronics and Water.
• Manage global and regional strategic accounts (e.g., KCC, Sherwin Williams, Akzo, Jotun, Nippon) by maintaining senior-level relationships and driving growth projects.
• Manage distributor networks by communicating company strategy, setting growth targets, and reviewing project pipelines and performance.
• Collaborate with internal regional marketing, technical, logistics, and finance teams to deliver integrated customer solutions.
• Handle administrative requirements including sales forecasting, call reports, and expense reports.
• Participate in trade shows, conferences, and regional meetings.

Requirements

• University degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a polymer-related field.
• 10 years of professional experience, including 5-8 years within the coating industry.
• Fluency in English (both written and oral communication).
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Proven experience in value selling and strong negotiation skills.
• Strong business analysis and financial skills.
• Ability to remain flexible and adaptable in dynamic business conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in marketing segments such as New Energy, Automotive, Electronics, or Paper Packaging.
