Account Manager, Ophthalmics

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with target healthcare professionals (HCPs)
• Deliver MLR-approved, education-focused messages and therapeutic area disease-state information
• Enhance HCP awareness of Sun Ophthalmics products, clinical data, safety, and efficacy
• Execute business planning and territory management to achieve financial and activity goals
• Equip HCPs with tools to facilitate robust conversations and identify treatment gaps in patients

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required (scientific field preferred)
• 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience
• 2+ years of specialty pharmaceutical experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare institutions and commercial managed care
• Ability to travel domestically as necessary, including overnight travel

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in Eye Care or Ophthalmology
• Experience selling within healthcare institutions
