Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Achieve set sales revenue targets for existing business with an emphasis on profitable growth
• Drive product adoption in research institutes, universities, hospitals, and pathology labs
• Manage and grow a defined portfolio of customers across South-East Brisbane, Gold, and Sunshine Coast
• Identify and convert new business opportunities in the diagnostics and research sectors
• Promote key product categories including Cell Culture, Molecular research, and Diagnostics

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree in a healthcare or life sciences field
• Proven experience selling high-throughput plastic consumables within the Life Science or Pathology markets
• Strong business acumen, including understanding of customer pricing and margin management
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Microsoft Teams, and online ordering programs
• Excellent collaborative communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Established relationships within Research Institutes and major Universities
• Experience selling to Government and Private pathology providers
