About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage a high volume of inbound calls and emails to resolve billing questions and discrepancies
- Record customer financial status and track the progress of collection efforts
- Process customer refunds, credit memos, adjustments, and credit card payments
- Monitor overdue accounts and research short payments or pricing discrepancies
- Establish alternate payment schedules based on customer financial situations and company policy
- Collaborate with Operations, Sales, and Account Services teams to improve processes and the customer experience
- Communicate professionally with both external customers and internal sales staff
Requirements
- High School diploma or better
- 3+ years of experience in account management and collections
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel
- Strong interpersonal, listening, and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strict attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
