About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee global customer accounts, specifically Ford's chassis components, to ensure overall customer satisfaction and relationship performance.
  • Drive teams to exceed business metrics including quality, launch, delivery, service, and innovation.
  • Manage commercial responsibilities such as global and regional quotations, negotiations, and profitability performance.
  • Identify new business and market opportunities through marketing strategies and liaison with product development and engineering.
  • Manage critical documentation including quote letters, purchase orders, terms and conditions, and cost tracking.
  • Act as the primary technical product expert regarding customer service, product modification, and application.
  • Coordinate customer and internal meetings, including preparation and follow-up actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in sales roles with a steady progression of responsibilities.
  • Ability to travel approximately 10% within the US and Mexico as business needs require.
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally in a global organization and manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Solid understanding of engineering concepts and the ability to align customer needs with company capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the automotive industry.
  • Direct experience dealing with major Global OEMs, specifically Ford.
  • Knowledge of suspension and chassis component systems (e.g., control arms, stabilizer links, and ball joints).
  • Proven experience in building and managing major customer relationships.
