About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage a defined geographic region in Belgium to meet sales revenue objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers in academia, industry, and contract research.
- Prospect for new business opportunities while growing and developing existing accounts.
- Act as a liaison between customers and technical staff to ensure a thorough understanding of product and instrument portfolios.
- Develop sales programs designed to achieve and exceed budgeted sales volumes.
- Manage accounts and maintain accurate data within the CRM.
- Collaborate with Field Application Scientific and Inside Sales teams to drive instrument and consumable sales.
Requirements
- B.S. in Life Science, Engineering, or a related field (additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience managing multiple geographic regions.
- Proven experience in industrial or academic sales.
- Strong technical knowledge of Molecular Biology and Proteomics.
- Proficiency in Salesforce (or similar CRM) and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to travel up to 100% within the designated territory, including overnight stays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Life Science or a related field.
- Experience with competitive technology systems in the proteomics space.
