Account Manager II

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of an experienced account manager to learn technical water treatment problem-solving and customer selling fundamentals.
• Develop key relationships with customers by identifying decision makers and researching prospects.
• Implement innovative sales strategies to increase market share within an assigned geography.
• Assist in increasing sales and profit margins within the territory.
• Learn to create effective proposals and communicate the ChemTreat value proposition.
• Gradually take on technical tasks, including troubleshooting site-specific process issues and auditing unit operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related technical degree.
• 2-4 years of experience interacting with customers at various organizational levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for service reports, emails, and proposals.
• Ability to travel within the assigned territory and work varied schedules.
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in industrial environments (including climbing stairs/ladders and wearing PPE).

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience or knowledge within the water treatment industry.
• Familiarity with various water treatment applications.
