About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage a defined geographic region in Germany to meet sales revenue objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers in academia, industry, and contract research sectors.
- Prospect for new business opportunities while growing and developing existing accounts.
- Act as a liaison between customers and technical staff to ensure a thorough understanding of product and instrument portfolios.
- Develop sales programs designed to achieve budgeted sales volumes.
- Manage account data within the CRM to ensure accuracy and current information.
- Integrate Field Application Scientific and Inside Sales teams into strategic selling processes.
Requirements
- B.S. in Life Science, Engineering, or a related field (additional years of experience may substitute for a degree).
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience managing multiple geographic regions.
- Strong technical background with knowledge of Molecular Biology and Proteomics.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and teleconferencing software.
- Ability to travel extensively (up to 100%) within the designated territory, including overnight stays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in industrial or academic sales.
- Proficiency with Salesforce (SFDC).
