Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow a sales territory with a focus on acquiring new customers
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and outreach
• Utilize Salesforce to manage pipeline and track progress
• Create tailored chemical treatment programs for customers
• Survey customer facilities and recommend chemical solutions
• Write persuasive proposals and service reports
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms
• Analyze market trends and competitive activity

Requirements

• 2-5 years of sales experience in the water treatment or chemical industry
• Experience with wastewater treatment, boilers, and cooling towers
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, biomolecular, industrial) or life sciences (chemistry, biology, environmental science)
