Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Own and grow a defined sales territory with a focus on new business development and account expansion
• Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans to achieve revenue and margin objectives
• Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities and increase penetration within existing accounts
• Provide technical expertise and hands-on application support to customers for troubleshooting and solution-based recommendations
• Design customer programs leveraging manufacturing capabilities and distribution networks
• Analyze sales performance, track historical data, and forecast annual volumes
• Maintain accurate customer and prospect records in Salesforce CRM
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, purchasing, and supply chain teams
• Travel extensively throughout the assigned territory for customer support and business development

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read, write, and speak English

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ years of sales or related technical experience
• Experience in the Fuel Ethanol Production industry
• Ability to construct business plans
