Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Promote, negotiate, and sell Cutting Tools and Workholding products within assigned accounts and regions
• Develop and maintain positive customer relationships through regular face-to-face visits
• Identify opportunities for all other Gleason products within assigned accounts
• Travel to customer locations throughout the region (50-75% of the time)
• Monitor and report on customer activity, competitive actions, and market conditions
• Communicate customer needs (VOC) and resolve issues on behalf of the customer
• Perform detailed pre-sales and post-sales follow-up using CRM and ERP systems

Requirements

• Field sales experience in an industrial manufacturing industry and environment
• Associates or Technical Degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Business, Marketing, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systems
• Ability to travel 50-75% of the time
• Strong organizational, presentation, and communication skills
• Demonstrated business management experience and skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical background and experience in gear manufacturing and automation techniques
• Knowledge of cylindrical and bevel gear manufacturing
