About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the renewal process with existing clients for upsell and cross-selling
  • Drive revenue by aligning G2 solutions to client objectives
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
  • Create comprehensive sales plans aligned with client growth strategies
  • Prospect and unlock expansion revenue by educating contacts on G2 solutions
  • Maintain existing clients through proactive outreach and relationship building
  • Build trust with key accounts and executive sponsors
  • Develop and deliver concise sales presentations
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts with an emphasis on multi-threading
  • Support onboarding and maintenance calls to ensure long-lasting partnerships
  • Partner with internal resources like Customer Success and Research teams to support customers

Requirements

  • Experience managing an existing book of business
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Experience in a B2B sales environment
  • Experience in the software, technology, or digital marketing industry
  • Mid-market segment: 4+ years of quota carrying experience
  • SMB segment: 2-4 years of quota carrying experience
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills
  • Strong negotiation techniques and client-focused mindset
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
