About the role
Responsibilities
- Own a portfolio of 40 North American Capital clients, serving as their internal advocate and conducting quarterly business reviews.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities for credit line increases, utilization improvements, and cross-selling additional products like term loans.
- Utilize supply chain data, such as shipment patterns and volume spikes, to identify timely financing needs for customers.
- Act as frontline commercial intelligence for the credit and risk team by monitoring financial health and repayment behavior.
- Build trusted, senior-level relationships with CFOs, Finance Directors, and CEOs to position Flexport Capital as a strategic partner.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Demand and Farmer AE teams to develop bundled freight-capital propositions.
Requirements
- Proven customer-facing experience with the ability to own commercial relationships end-to-end.
- Strong commercial drive and motivation to meet growth targets.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to navigate objections and present to high-level stakeholders.
- High degree of proactivity, ownership, and adaptability in fast-moving environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Financial acumen, including familiarity with working capital, financial statements, or credit products.
