Account Manager, Flexport Capital

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a portfolio of 40 North American Capital clients, serving as their internal advocate and conducting quarterly business reviews.
• Drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities for credit line increases, utilization improvements, and cross-selling additional Capital products.
• Utilize supply chain data, such as shipment patterns and volume spikes, to identify timely financing needs for customers.
• Act as frontline commercial intelligence for the credit and risk team by monitoring financial health, repayment behavior, and market conditions.
• Build and maintain trusted, senior-level relationships with CFOs, Finance Directors, and CEOs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Demand and Farmer AE teams to develop bundled freight-capital propositions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in customer-facing roles, managing commercial relationships end-to-end.
• Strong commercial drive with a motivation to meet growth targets and identify new opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport and present confidently to executive stakeholders.
• High level of proactivity, ownership, and adaptability in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Financial acumen, including familiarity with working capital, financial statements, or credit products.
