About the role

Responsibilities

  • Generate revenue and contribution margin for assigned accounts and new customers across various product lines.
  • Drive sales of contract drug delivery services, including nanoparticle development and custom polymer manufacturing.
  • Negotiate and execute confidentiality, supply, service, and quality agreements with target accounts.
  • Conduct customer meetings to promote products, identify opportunities, and qualify prospects alongside technical experts.
  • Prepare proposals, offers, and project submissions in collaboration with internal technical teams.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, including contact details, visit reports, forecasts, and project opportunities.
  • Implement sales and marketing strategies to grow existing accounts and develop new customers in the West Coast territory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Technical or Business degree preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in sales or technical roles.
  • Strong relationship-building, networking, and contract negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to sell complex products and services and manage a large, diverse customer base.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to engage with global teams across R&D, manufacturing, regulatory, and quality functions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of drug delivery systems, solubility enhancement, and modified release formulations.
