About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage all commercial aspects of the customer relationship for key Environmental Technologies customers.
  • Develop and execute short- and long-term account plans to identify growth opportunities and increase profitability.
  • Lead customer pricing activities, quotations, and commercial proposals in alignment with company strategies.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and agreements, including long-term supply agreements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, engineering, and supply chain to support customer needs.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with customer decision-makers to position Corning as a strategic partner.
  • Facilitate the resolution of product quality or performance issues by coordinating internal responses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (Business, Engineering, or related field preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in account management, sales, or commercial roles.
  • Strong negotiation and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional, matrixed teams.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and occasionally internationally.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience managing customer relationships in a technical or manufacturing environment.
  • General knowledge of engine and emission control technologies.
  • Familiarity with Substrate or Diesel Particulate Filter products.
  • Experience with PPAP, DFMEA, or PFMEA.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to support decision-making.
