About the role

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue and profit growth through consultative sales and system assurance programs in targeted accounts
  • Develop and execute sales plans to close new opportunities within existing customer bases and competitive accounts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including plant and facility executives
  • Perform system analysis and interpret data to provide written recommendations for optimal customer operations
  • Lead and coach District Representatives while championing corporate initiatives
  • Stabilize and manage jeopardy business within large, strategic accounts

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years of technical or field sales experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel up to 25% (including overnight travel)
  • Must reside within a commutable distance from New York, NY

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry, etc.)
  • Experience in the water treatment or specialty chemical industry
  • Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems or operations
