Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of stationary engineers, building operators, and trade subcontractors
• Oversee technical operations including boilers, chillers, plumbing, and biohazard safety systems
• Manage annual equipment shutdowns and planned maintenance schedules
• Ensure effective capital project planning and technical risk management
• Maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and municipal bylaw offices
• Develop and monitor annual budgets, financial controls, and invoicing
• Prepare monthly and bi-yearly performance reports and track KPIs
• Lead quality and health & safety audits to ensure compliance
• Identify potential risks and implement business continuity strategies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
• 5+ years of experience managing operations and teams
• 5+ years of experience in budgeting and financial reporting at a department head level
• 3+ years in operational or performance management
• Experience in service delivery within a healthcare environment
• Experience working cross-functionally in a matrix environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• PMP or FMP certification preferred
• Knowledge of Public Private Partnerships (P3) contracts
