Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Support territory sales, pipeline development, and account follow-up through proactive distributor and customer engagement
• Build relationships with distribution channel partners and indirect customers
• Use a professional sales process to uncover customer needs and coordinate internal support for proposals
• Maintain accurate CRM activity, opportunity, account, and market intelligence information
• Assist with account plans, distributor performance reviews, and forecasts
• Participate in product, application, and technical sales training
• Gather and communicate market intelligence and competitor activity
• Travel within the assigned territory to support distributor partners and customer visits

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical, electrical, or software
• 1-3 years of sales, customer service, technical support, or distribution experience
• Strong communication skills and relationship building ability
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within assigned territory
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM discipline
• Must live within approximately 100km of the Toronto International Airport

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to hydraulics, fluid power, or mechanical systems
• Familiarity with distribution channels, OEMs, or B2B technical selling
• Experience in construction, agriculture, mining, or industrial manufacturing markets
• Bilingual capability
• CFPS/CFPE certification or technical diploma
