About the role
Responsibilities
- Secure short and long-term profitable business by positioning and selling Core and Service Assurance solutions to a major tier 1 customer
- Identify critical customer needs through consultative engagement to generate new sales opportunities
- Conduct product and solution presentations and demonstrations to articulate value propositions
- Build and maintain trust-based relationships with relevant customer interfaces
- Collaborate with Key Account Manager resources, including Marketing, Technical Support, and business units at headquarters
- Participate in developing business plans and new sales initiatives alongside the VP and KAM team
- Provide thought leadership in areas of communication evolution, virtualization, cloud, and analytics
Requirements
- Engineering degree (preferably in Electronics, Computer Science, or Telecommunications)
- MBA or equivalent advanced business degree preferred
- Proven experience selling Core and Assurance solutions
- Minimum of two years of experience in project execution and delivery
- Strong sales and delivery expertise
- Technical knowledge of SDN, NFV, and Cloud environments
- Deep understanding of mobile technologies including 3G, 4G/LTE, and 5G
- Understanding of cloud-native 5G core architectures
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of IMS and Analytics
- Experience with Inventory Management, Network Management, and Network & Service Orchestration
