Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to drive steady revenue growth for assigned accounts
• Identify and manage relationships within complex customer organizations
• Assist in positioning solutions, preparing pricing and commercial proposals, and supporting contract negotiations
• Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and quotation requests
• Collaborate with internal teams including Product Management, Pre-Sales Engineering, and Sales Operations
• Deliver product presentations and demonstrations to both internal teams and client organizations
• Collect and communicate customer feature requirements to global product teams
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to support regional sales efforts

Requirements

• Proven ability to manage relationships within complex organizational structures
• Experience in preparing commercial proposals and supporting contract negotiations
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a matrix organizational structure
• Technical knowledge in the Telecom industry, specifically in Optical, Routing, and Switching

Preferred Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years of experience in B2B sales, solution selling, or system engineering
• Prior experience selling optical networking solutions
• Demonstrated success in supporting sales processes and closing deals
• Deep understanding of market and competitor dynamics within the telecom sector
