Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between external client/broker partners and internal home office teams
• Manage broker and client relationships to ensure successful sales, enrollment, and post-sales support for voluntary products
• Proactively manage expectations of employers and brokers by communicating status, issues, and timelines
• Collaborate with Implementation Management to facilitate smooth transitions for billing, reporting, and client support
• Conduct annual account reviews to identify concerns and develop action plans to address risks and opportunities
• Assist Business Development Managers in identifying growth strategies, including new lines of coverage and retention goals
• Participate in high-visibility broker finalist presentations and strategic account planning discussions

Requirements

• 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of experience in the benefits or insurance industry
• Proven experience with the voluntary benefit case lifecycle and setup
• Familiarity with industry enrollment platforms such as Common Census or Selerix
• Strong relationship management and consultative skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and manage work across multiple functions in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to travel as needed
