About the role
Responsibilities
- Represent the YORK/Hitachi portfolio by selling residential and commercial HVAC equipment and supplies to contractors.
- Focus heavily on recruiting and signing new YORK Dealers to increase market share.
- Develop partnerships with existing customers to increase share of wallet and expand growth year-over-year.
- Prospect and recruit new customers by demonstrating the value of the YORK partnership.
- Create custom marketing strategies and advise customers on utilizing program features to grow their businesses.
- Assist customers in selecting the best products to meet their specific needs and application regulations.
- Negotiate prices and terms of sale while meeting weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals.
- Ensure customers participate in industry-leading training classes offered locally and virtually.
Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- 5+ years of HVAC/R experience.
- 5+ years of strategic account management experience.
- Proficiency in Salesforce.
- Ability to travel within Bucks, Montgomery, and Philadelphia Counties.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Strong proficiency in business writing, verbal communication, and negotiation.
- Skilled in using Windows operating systems, including Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
- Proven ability to operate effectively across both sales and operations.
- Strong business acumen including sales forecasting and opportunity management.
- Self-motivated with a high energy level and a desire to achieve ambitious goals.
