About the role

Responsibilities

  • Expand and shape customer relationships through professional presence and expertise
  • Manage all business-relevant contacts within customer companies, including management, purchasing, and development
  • Identify and support customer business strategies in alignment with Avnet Silica business goals
  • Acquire inquiries and orders through direct personal customer contact
  • Negotiate and follow up on offers and contracts in close collaboration with the internal sales team
  • Actively generate and track project business
  • Provide technical support to customers in coordination with Field Application Engineers (FAE) and manufacturers
  • Maintain necessary reporting, including the management of project databases
  • Manage customer budgeting and take responsibility for revenue and profit targets
  • Conduct regular market and customer analyses to stay informed on technology and product developments

Requirements

  • Technical or commercial vocational training
  • Several years of experience in sales
  • Strong organizational talent, commitment, creativity, and initiative
  • Proficiency in MS Office and general IT applications
  • Fluency in English
  • Valid driver's license
