About the role
Responsibilities
- Generate sales for Audio Visual systems by developing and maintaining client relationships
- Identify sales prospects within assigned territory and provide accurate forecasts
- Analyze cross-selling and up-selling opportunities to ensure full product presentation
- Exhibit a consultative sales approach to determine customer visual collaboration needs
- Develop price quotations, bid responses, contracts, and pricing strategies
- Develop and execute strategic business plans and quarterly sales plans to meet quotas
- Work with installation teams to ensure smooth transitions from sale to installation
- Design and implement prospecting tools such as webinars, seminars, and social media campaigns
- Establish professional relationships with manufacturer sales and engineering personnel
- Use internal databases to track client contact information and pending activities
- Represent the company at technological briefings and trade shows
Requirements
- 5-7 years of direct selling experience in AV, VTC, Telecommunications, Construction, or Technology industries
- High school diploma or equivalent (four-year degree preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to understand, present, and demonstrate visual collaboration products
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
