Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Source and manage new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound communication.
• Promote the ADM Nutrition portfolio of ingredients across targeted market segments.
• Develop rapport with the broader sales team to identify appropriate placement for new customer leads.
• Manage customer accounts, including sample/opportunity entry, project management, and lead follow-up.
• Maintain working relationships with cross-functional teams such as Regulatory, Customer Service, and Procurement.
• Execute a proactive call schedule to increase customer connectivity.
• Act as a power user for CRM systems to manage and update customer activity and records.
• Provide detailed reporting to sales leadership using Salesforce.com and other analytical tools.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience.
• Demonstrated skill using a CRM system, specifically Salesforce.com.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organization, time management, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build relationships with customers and cross-functional team members.
• Willingness and availability to travel within continental North America.
• Ability to work onsite in Erlanger, KY.
