About the role
Responsibilities
- Sell Unchained Labs BGT instruments in the assigned geography of Japan
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
- Maintain a high level of technical knowledge for the product line
- Proactively generate new leads and opportunities
- Develop key accounts within the assigned territory
- Navigate orders through the customer purchasing process
- Update Salesforce CRM system regularly and provide weekly sales forecasts
- Maintain positive customer relations and dealer engagement
- Conduct pre-sales seminars, technical presentations, and instrument demos
- Collaborate with field application scientists and internal teams to support customer success
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related science field
- 3+ years of sales experience in the life sciences tools industry selling laboratory instrumentation
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales quotas
- Ability to lead both technical and commercial customer discussions independently
- Strong consultative selling and customer discovery skills
- English fluency (written and verbal)
- Ability to travel up to 25% overnight when required
Preferred Qualifications
- Candidates based in the Kansai region
- Experience with MS Office applications and Salesforce databases
