Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers through regular in-person visits
• Identify new supplier opportunities and assess operations on-site
• Inspect catalytic converters for quality and compliance
• Perform physical tasks including lifting, loading, and transporting converters
• Monitor market trends and pricing shifts to guide negotiations
• Prepare accurate and timely bids based on field insights
• Coordinate with operations and logistics teams

Requirements

• Experience in account management, business development, or sales
• Experience in metal recycling or automotive industry preferred
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Analytical mindset for interpreting market and pricing data
• Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and loading

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
• Knowledge of catalytic converters or related regulations
