About the role
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers through regular in-person visits
- Identify new supplier opportunities and assess operations on-site
- Inspect catalytic converters for quality and compliance
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, loading, and transporting converters
- Monitor market trends and pricing shifts to guide negotiations
- Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth processing
Requirements
- Experience in account management, business development, or sales
- Background in metal recycling or automotive industry preferred
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Analytical mindset for interpreting market and pricing data
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office
- Ability to perform physically active tasks in the field
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Knowledge of catalytic converters or related regulations
