About the role

Responsibilities

  • Partner cooperatively in a team environment to support the evolution of various Mastercard business programs
  • Liaise with a global customer base to identify opportunities for program improvement and understand customer needs
  • Support team functions related to ensuring customer compliance with Mastercard standards
  • Utilize analytic insights and tools to facilitate compliance, investigative, and reporting initiatives
  • Perform project management duties, including creating processes, developing timelines, and managing compliance cases
  • Communicate with key stakeholders to implement action plans addressing vulnerabilities and weaknesses
  • Interface with internal and external customers to educate them on program rules, procedures, and best practices
  • Conduct desktop research to identify regional or global trends and develop key performance metrics

Requirements

  • Currently studying for a bachelor's degree with an expected graduation date between June 2027 and December 2027
  • Possession of full legal working rights in Australia (Permanent Residents or Citizens of Australia/New Zealand)
  • Ability to commit to the full 9-week internship period from 30 November 2026 to 29 January 2027
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • A curious mindset and a willingness to collaborate and learn
