About the role
Responsibilities
- Partner cooperatively in a team environment to support the evolution of various Mastercard business programs
- Liaise with a global customer base to identify opportunities for program improvement and understand customer needs
- Support team functions related to ensuring customer compliance with Mastercard standards
- Utilize analytic insights and tools to facilitate compliance, investigative, and reporting initiatives
- Perform project management duties, including creating processes, developing timelines, and managing compliance cases
- Communicate with key stakeholders to implement action plans addressing vulnerabilities and weaknesses
- Interface with internal and external customers to educate them on program rules, procedures, and best practices
- Conduct desktop research to identify regional or global trends and develop key performance metrics
Requirements
- Currently studying for a bachelor's degree with an expected graduation date between June 2027 and December 2027
- Possession of full legal working rights in Australia (Permanent Residents or Citizens of Australia/New Zealand)
- Ability to commit to the full 9-week internship period from 30 November 2026 to 29 January 2027
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- A curious mindset and a willingness to collaborate and learn
