Account Leader

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of existing client accounts and a quota for expansion revenue by identifying and closing follow-on engagements
• Map account structures to identify budget holders and upcoming AI opportunities
• Track relationships, expansion pipeline, and account health using HubSpot and Notion
• Translate technical delivery into business outcomes for client leadership through consultative business reviews and proposals
• Partner with delivery teams to scope follow-on work and with marketing to create client success stories
• Develop and implement AI agents to automate account workflows such as expansion-signal detection and renewal tracking
• Manage key metrics including expansion revenue, net revenue retention, and account health

Requirements

• 5+ years in account management, expansion sales, or consultative selling
• Proven track record of growing existing accounts in professional services, AI, or technology
• Ability to navigate technical conversations with engineers and strategic conversations with C-level executives
• Proficiency in BD tools and AI-enabled workflows, including experience building agents or automations
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build structure in a startup environment
• Data-driven approach to tracking retention and account health
