About the role
Responsibilities
- Service an allocated client base and identify cross-selling opportunities to drive revenue growth
- Actively drive the sales process to win, retain, and develop profitable clients
- Develop and manage the production pipeline for both existing clients and new business
- Understand client business needs and provide innovative risk management solutions
- Lead end-to-end client service while adhering to standardized policies and service standards
- Maintain accurate contact details and development progress within CRM systems
- Support the Business Unit in budgeting, forecasting, and tracking revenue
- Provide technical and subject matter expertise to colleagues and stakeholders
Requirements
- 5–10 years of proven experience in client relationship management and revenue generation
- Grade 12, Regulatory Examination (RE5), and a Business degree or NQF Level 6 (FSB-recognised)
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to make business-critical decisions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to assess customer risk profiles and provide informed advice
- Proactive, business-minded, and capable of managing the full client process independently
