Account Executive

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and enhance strong producer relationships through superior product knowledge and excellent customer service
• Achieve personal and office sales goals through consultation, negotiation, and strategic positioning of Unum offerings
• Identify and procure new customer sales opportunities in partnership with brokers within the assigned territory
• Manage a high volume of quote and sales activity, focusing on small to mid-sized employers
• Execute annual renewal strategies to support office goals and manage the inforce block of business
• Represent Group, Dental/Vision, and Voluntary products in the local market
• Collaborate with Field and Home Office resources to acquire and retain business

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• Licensed to solicit insurance in the states within the assigned territory
• Strong understanding of underwriting and risk concepts
• Superior interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to travel as required
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
