About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to drive business growth
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and prospecting through to contract award
  • Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and project walkthroughs to assess requirements
  • Partner with estimating and technical teams to develop accurate proposals and customized solutions
  • Present proposals, negotiate agreements, and secure new business opportunities
  • Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline forecasts, and customer data within the CRM
  • Identify opportunities to expand customer relationships through additional products and services

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Business to Business (B2B) sales experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Ability to read and understand construction documents and project specifications
  • Valid California driver's license and proof of valid car insurance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from initial plan to close
  • Ability to drive for 2+ hours per work shift/day

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications
  • Training in Challenger Sales, SPIN Selling, or Sandler Selling systems
