About the role
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales quotas on a quarterly and annual basis by developing sales strategies and regional plans
- Develop marketing plans in collaboration with the marketing team to drive revenue growth
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their IT roadmaps
- Prospect, qualify, and develop new sales opportunities
- Arrange and conduct initial Executive and CxO discussions and positioning meetings
- Manage the full sales process and drive opportunity closure
Requirements
- 8+ years of field sales experience, preferably in data or cloud technology
- 5+ years of industry-focused experience generating new business
- Proven ability to independently manage, develop, and close new client relationships
- Experience hitting annual quotas of $1M+ ARR
- Track record of consistent activity, pipeline development, and quota achievement
- Experience determining customer requirements and presenting solutions
- Proficiency in MEDDPICC
- Professional proficiency in Norwegian
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry-specific experience
- Experience selling software or cloud-based applications to Enterprise clients
