About the role
Responsibilities
- Hunt and close new SMB restaurant partners through the full sales cycle, from prospecting to signing
- Develop and execute strategic acquisition plans to prioritize high-value prospects and close selection gaps
- Leverage market intelligence and platform data to build compelling pitches and prioritize outreach
- Navigate objections and negotiate commercial terms to demonstrate clear value to partners
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and Post-Sales teams to ensure seamless onboarding
- Stay informed on competitor activity, local dining trends, and merchant sentiment
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or new business acquisition
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and closing new business
- Strong prospecting and pipeline management skills with a hunter mentality
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to negotiate effectively
- Clear and confident communication skills for phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Valid full driver’s licence
- Willingness to travel regionally and interstate, including overnight and occasional week-long trips
