About the role

Responsibilities

  • Hunt and close new SMB restaurant partners through the full sales cycle, including prospecting, pitching, and negotiating
  • Develop and execute strategic acquisition plans to prioritize high-value prospects and close selection gaps in key markets
  • Leverage market intelligence and platform data to build compelling pitches and drive outreach
  • Navigate objections and negotiate commercial terms to demonstrate clear value to potential partners
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and Post-Sales teams to ensure seamless merchant onboarding
  • Stay informed on competitor activity, local dining trends, and merchant sentiment to inform sales approaches

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or new business acquisition
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and closing new business
  • Strong prospecting and pipeline management skills with a hunter mentality
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to craft compelling value propositions
  • Clear and confident communication skills for phone, email, and in-person interactions
  • Ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced, and competitive environment
  • Valid full driver’s licence
  • Willingness to travel regionally and interstate, including overnight and occasional week-long trips
