Account Executive, SLED

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive territory plans to drive revenue within the State and Local Government (SLED) market
• Drive sales within a defined territory or account list to achieve established revenue targets
• Create and articulate compelling value propositions for Cloudflare services to both technical and non-technical buyers
• Manage contract negotiations and maintain a robust sales pipeline
• Develop and maintain long-term strategic relationships with key public sector accounts

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience selling technical solutions or products to the Public Sector (SLED, Federal, or Municipalities)
• Proven experience managing long and complex sales cycles
• Basic understanding of computer networking and how the internet works
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical background in engineering, computer science, or Management Information Systems (MIS)
• Demonstrated aptitude for quickly learning complex technical concepts and terminology
