Account Executive

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounts for new business and the renewal process as directed by the broker
• Support brokers in creating market submissions and quote cover letters for agents
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers to proactively support business needs
• Collaborate with brokers to drive renewals and solicit new business through client referrals
• Prepare new business strategies, including proposals and presentations for new client opportunities
• Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with accounts to ensure adherence to industry regulations
• Maintain accuracy of data in internal systems and create precise documentation
• Generate performance reports and leverage data to inform brokers on portfolio trends
• Resolve invoicing issues with Premium Accounting and communicate notices of cancellation

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the insurance industry
• Bachelor's degree required (Business Administration, Sales, or Risk Management preferred)
• Possession of required state P&C and/or surplus line licenses

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR)
• Commercial Insurance License (CIL)
