Account Executive - Public Sector

Responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of public sector customer priorities, challenges, and regulatory environments
• Lead large and complex opportunities, including public tenders and framework agreements
• Identify and position technology solutions aligned with digital transformation and modernization initiatives
• Increase share of spend across the full portfolio, including infrastructure, software, cybersecurity, and services
• Manage territories through account planning, sales forecasting, and opportunity tracking
• Collaborate with technical, legal, and pre-sales teams to deliver compliant and competitive proposals
• Engage regularly with key decision-makers, including IT leadership and procurement officers

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience selling technology solutions, ideally within the public sector
• Strong understanding of public sector ecosystems, including procurement processes and regulatory considerations
• Proven experience managing public tenders and competitive bidding processes
• Excellent customer management and consultative selling skills
• Ability to engage, influence, and present to senior stakeholders such as CIOs and senior executives
