Account Executive, Public Relations

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day execution of cybersecurity PR programs, including media relations, analyst engagement, and content
• Participate in weekly client calls and prepare agendas, updates, and coverage reports
• Conduct research on emerging threats, competitors, and regulations
• Support media outreach by researching reporters and developing targeted pitches
• Draft and edit press releases, media pitches, award submissions, and blog posts
• Translate technical cybersecurity topics into clear, engaging language for media and business audiences
• Track and analyze media coverage and campaign results

Requirements

• 2–3 years of PR or communications experience in an agency setting
• Experience working with clients in the cybersecurity industry
• Strong writing and editing skills across multiple formats
• Ability to translate complex, technical concepts into relatable stories
• Strong organization and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Developing network of media contacts in the cybersecurity space
• Familiarity with analytics or media tracking tools
