Account Executive, Product Sales (Tax)

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue, increase attach rates, and lead new client acquisition for Stripe Tax across the APAC region.
• Lead complex sales discussions with large existing and prospective customers in Southeast Asia, Greater China, Australia, and New Zealand.
• Articulate the value proposition of Stripe Tax to diverse stakeholders, including technical teams, finance departments, and C-suite executives.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, engineering, and customer success teams to develop go-to-market playbooks and ensure client satisfaction.
• Develop a deep understanding of global indirect tax requirements to provide tailored solutions for expanding businesses.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships, guiding them through the sales process and implementation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of sales or prospecting experience at a technology company with a proven track record of meeting quotas.
• Fluency in both Mandarin and English is required to engage with complex China-based merchants.
• Experience selling Tax solutions, financial services, or similar software.
• Proven ability to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements.
• Ability to understand complex technical requirements and craft solutions for multiple stakeholders.
• Willingness and ability to travel across the APAC region as needed.

• Proven ability to sell complex software solutions to enterprise-level clients.
