Account Executive, Product Sales (Billing)

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue to achieve and overperform on sales targets
• Lead new sales and upsell conversations for Stripe's billing products with existing and prospective customers
• Drive strategic thought leadership within assigned territories to ensure user success and revenue growth
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Stripe's specialized products for both internal teams and customers
• Synthesize and relay customer feedback to the product team to inform the Stripe product roadmap
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and User Operations teams to amplify growth

Requirements

• 8+ years of sales or prospecting experience at a technology company with a track record of top performance
• Proven experience owning a direct sales quota, including closing new business and expanding existing users
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills, particularly for complex, bespoke commercial agreements
• Ability to understand complex technical requirements and craft solutions for multiple stakeholders
• Ability to thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving, and ambiguous environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience selling financial services or similar software
• Direct experience selling billing solutions
• Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment
