About the role
Responsibilities
- Hunt and close new enterprise logos within the investment banking vertical, targeting $100k-$2M ACV deals.
- Build and execute detailed account plans, mapping stakeholders across compliance, technology, and business lines.
- Run discovery sessions and product demonstrations for senior executives, including CCOs, CTOs, and Heads of Technology.
- Navigate complex enterprise procurement processes, including security reviews, data residency requirements, and IT integration.
- Develop quantified C-level value propositions and ROI frameworks tailored to the banking segment.
- Shape the product roadmap by providing feedback on client needs, objections, and workflow gaps.
- Build the investment banking go-to-market motion, including prospecting strategies and competitive positioning.
Requirements
- Proven track record in enterprise SaaS sales or selling information services (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, S&P Capital IQ) into investment banks.
- Deep understanding of investment banking workflows, personas, and decision-making processes.
- Experience navigating multi-stakeholder sales cycles and complex procurement/security reviews.
- High level of AI literacy and the ability to discuss LLM risks and opportunities with technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills to size markets and estimate ACV for target accounts.
- Extreme drive for outbound prospecting and building a pipeline from scratch.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in investment banking at a principal level or above.
- Experience in business development or commercial GTM roles within the financial services sector.
