Account Executive, Preqin, Vice President

Responsibilities

• Manage the full sales cycle from end to end, securing introductions and building buy-in through direct engagement with stakeholders
• Develop a pipeline of new business opportunities within a defined West Coast sales territory
• Provide prospective clients with detailed product demonstrations, proposals, and consultations
• Drive revenue growth within existing accounts by supporting strategic renewal cycles and identifying expansion opportunities
• Execute go-to-market efforts through localized events and lead generation to drive demand

Requirements

• 5+ years of sales experience in a new business or account management role within financial services, alternative investments, or B2B SaaS
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas and targets
• Strong negotiation skills related to upsells, cross-selling, and new logo acquisitions
• Working knowledge of financial market data, alternative assets, and the financial services industry
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
